Returning to Maine in the wee hours, Ethan gets himself a cup of coffee from then and sits in the near deserted hall and begins writing his report into his desk.

Performed solo recon/sortie to the Yorkshire system.

Upon entry to the Dublin system I was hailed by a Molly patrol of the "Paddies" Battalion. After apprising them of my intentions, General O'Shanahan, dispatched Molly pilots, Viriatus and O'Brian, to join me on my sortie.

    A quick discussion resulted in the ROE to be established as thus;
    1. Nomads were to be engaged.
    2. Molly pilots would not interfere with Order pilot self defense against Corsairs.
    3. Order pilot (ie. me) would not interfere in Molly pilot self defense from Bretonian forces/police.

I entered Yorkshire ahead of the Mollys and was quickly set upon by Corsairs, they patrol heavily near the jump hole.

A quick refueling stop by Eboracum base. then off to patrol near the nomad lair. We encountered numerous nomads of different calibres, Elites, Escorts and even some unclassifed ones. I also encountered many Corsairs of various skill and ship types. A few cultist were also present in the for of akujin and specter ships.

After a number of enemy waves, the number of which I can't recall but approximately 6 or 7, the Molly pilot were recalled to base. I thanked them for their help and continued solo for another 3 or 4 waves. Then finding my stocks and fuel depleted I stopped by Eboracum once again to refuel and offload captured weapons and ordinance, before heading back to base (Maine), encountering more Corsairs and eve

    End of action report.

Personal Notes: It might just have been my perceptions but U seem to have encountered more corsairs than nomads. This is only my second trip to Yorkshire. However, I reiterate my feeling that the nomad presence there is nowhere near the levels of Alaska or the outer systems and we have an opportunity to deal them a sever blow by taking out this base should we attack in force.

    Report signed,
    Ensign Ethan Eversharpe.

// Should I post this to the SWWT forums as well?

Reports of Lt. Eversharpe Empty #2

Pulling off his flight helmet and handing it over to his deck crew Chief, Ethan says "Fix her, load her up and give her a shine will ya Mac. I gotta go pen another ode for command."

After taking a step he turns and adds with a grin "Oh and hand the cargo to the OIA." before heading off.

Mac, Chief Warrant Officer Arrald MacKenzie, the head of Ethan's flight crew looks over at the blaster charred and battered Horus SUP and mutters to himself "What's the crazy bastard done now?"

Patrol of the Alaska system successful.

In New York, I engaged 4 Cultist at the Alaska jump gate.

Encountered 4 waves of Nomad fighters, a mixbag of Elites, Escorts and those un-classified ones, on my way to Juneau. All were terminated and 1 "pilot" captured.

Docking at Juneau I was contacted by one of our operatives with a report of Nomad acquisition of chemical agents. Acting on the report I restocked and quickly launched to intercept.

Upon nearing last known co-ordinates I was set upon by a first wave of 6 Nomad Elites. Having barely entered gun range with the fighters, an un-classified Nomad "Battleship" appeared on sensors and thankfully for me did not close range.

As I was closing up the first wave of Nomad and contemplating on how to deal with the "Battleship" a second wave of 6 Elites we inbound, followed by a Nomad Battleship, who set up position approximately 500M parallel to the first.

Having no time to waste thought on the matter as I had to deal with the Elites, with a 3rd wave showing up on scanners I truly feared that a third Nomad capital ship would enter the fray.

Once all the Elites dealt with I contemplated the problem of the cap ships. I had few munitions left, a score of mines and about half as many missiles. when the thought of their parallel positions inspired me.

Coming to just outside their gun ranges and then flying between them at full thrust, dropping missiles early and mines late as fast as my loaders could handle, worked a charm. Though it was not quick and required a number of passes, with lag in between to let my shield regenerate one of them succumbed to their own crossfire and my mines.

Having kept a pair of missiles in reserve should that prove successful to end the other Battleship I quickly set about coming in on oblique angles to it's guns, and do sweeps to destroy it.

The ships as they were detonating released "pilots" and the chemical agent. Deeming it safer to destroy in space I fired upon it and all 291 "pilots" I could not capture.

To summarize, Chemical agent destroyed, 10 enemy "pilots" captured and turned over to the OIA. 4 Cultist, 34 Nomad fighters, and 2 battleships eliminated.

    End of Report.

// Sounds really great don't it? However, while I described my plan to take them out, as if it actually happened, that was not so. The reality is I just shot the BS at close range because for whatever reason they were not shooting. But that makes for lousy RP, "I killed a guy who couldn't shoot back." who am I Robert Ford?

Chief Warrant Officer Arrald MacKenzie couldn't believe they'd actually promoted his young pilot so soon. Although at least this time the ship wasn't in as bad a shape.

"More cargo for the OIA Sir?" he asked the newly minted Lieutenant.

"You got it Mac," Ethan responded, "wrap 'em up nicely and ship 'em with a bow."

"Yes sir, anything else?" The chief questioned.

"Refuel and re-arm, might be going back out soon." answered the Lt.

"Aye sir, don't worry she'll be ready when you need her." Chief responded as Ethan turned with a nod and headed in to submit his report.

    Alaskan safari successful.

Encountered no forces in NY or near Juneau, could they be holding back and building up for something?

BS Arizona was another matter though. Squids were out in force there and thanks to the help of some allied fliers some number of Nomads were engaged and destroyed. Though not at small cost, a number of allied pilots fell to enemy fire, enough to fill my armament hold with their cast off ammo.

However their sacrifice was not in vain, scores of squids were destroyed. 42 confirmed fighters/escorts killed by myself with may more falling to our allies.

The crowing piece of this safari is once again the fall of one of their so called battleships. Thanks to the efforts of an allied pilot and myself we took it out while it was trying to escape from the loss of it's escorts, which had claimed 2 Navy patrolmen.

It must have sent out a distress signal or some-such. For as it neared destruction a wave of re-enforcements showed up and claimed the life of that brave Navy pilot. After dispatching them and tractoring in as many "pilots" as possible I destroyed the rest and headed back to base.

    End of report.
    Lieutenant Ethan Eversharpe

Personal Note: I wish to commend those allied Navy pilots for without them I would not have survived this outing. At a few harrowing moment their arrival or intervention allowed me time to re-group and regenerate.
